Your portfolio gives students a sample of your work to demonstrate your expertise. It helps showcase the kind of work you want to do on this platform. The standards on this page are created to build your reputation on StudyGate. Here they are:
- Examples of an acceptable portfolio item include:
- An academic article you wrote (preferred), either published work from a journal or papers submitted in a course you took.
- Samples of answers you have provided. Handwritten content is acceptable if the handwriting is legible.
- When submitting direct answers in math, science, and business categories, include at least 5 answers. Programming portfolio items should show complex programs. Humanities writing samples should be at least 3 full pages long.
- Provide at least 1 PDF for each subject you want to help in (Math, Science, Business, Programming, Humanities). See this article for our subject approval standards.
- Name your PDF according to the relevant category content (Statistics.pdf, SQL.pdf, Physics.pdf, Accounting.pdf, Literature.pdf).
- Only show your best work. Most importantly, show the kind of work you want to do in the future.
- Submit original content only.
Your application will be rejected if your portfolio submission contains:
- Copy+paste content of your bio.
- Cover letter presenting your application.
- Reviews from other platforms.
- Your CV or resume.
- Private content previous clients have already paid for.
- Material from previous projects you did on behalf of other clients.
